Description: How to boost the visibility of your healthcare-for-all rallies and activism using social media. We’ll cover tools like Twitter, Facebook, and good ol’ email—with movement examples of what has worked, what is best to use when for what impact, what to prioritize if you’re on a shoe-string or zero budget and are a social media beginner, and how to build and use a Social Media volunteer committee to deepen your organizing.

-Discussion – How to Get the Message out? How to Make Activism more Visible. H0w to Get National Attention?

-must have action, photos and a good message

-share on twitter with union staff, elected officials, union members , the media

-co-ordinate the message , develop a relationship with national staff

-don’t rely on non union groups to deliver.

-they formed a social media committee and are looking for volunteers from every union
